Los 100 de The Guardian

Hace unas semanas, The Guardian -probablemente unas de las mejores experiencias de diarios online- publicó un ranking sobre los que a gusto de ellos, son los 100 mejores webistes. Lo notable del ejercicio no es necesariamente revisar cada uno de ellos -una buena parte son muy conocidos- sino observar las tendencias. Aunque como decía Juan Varela en Mediapolis, muchos de estos sitios no sobrevivirán a la crisis (el modelo llora), en 2008 se acentuó la importancia de los sitios de colaboración, los que sirven para convertir archivos, los que entregan herramientas gratuitas para realizar presentaciones (280Slides) o construir plataformas de TV (WorldTV). Creación y colaboración. También se ve un crecimiento en los sistemas basados en la localización y, por supuesto, los móviles. La competencia entre los buscadores también entra en la clasificación. La lista obviamente incluye a Twitter y otro microformatos, mapas, visualizaciones, música, redes sociales y noticias. Las elegidas tiene en su mayoría el factor común de la agregación.
